I hope you had a great extended weekend. As you know, Saturday was my 6th wedding anniversary with the hubs. :) For those who don't already know, for our anniversary my husband (back in March) planned a surprise prom for me (read here for more details). Last weekend we went to the coast for our church's annual couple's retreat and extended it out an extra day so that we could go scuba diving together for the first time.
What else could we possibly do for our anniversary?? See a movie of course! I'm not sure if you know this about me and my hubby, but we LOVE going to the movies!! Its one of my favorite things to do with him. :) When we lived in southern California that was the main thing we did on our dates. Actually, it is the main thing MOST people living there do! lol
Any hoo, back to my weekend. We went and saw Prince of Persia. I was super excited. I had been anticipating this movie for actually a couple of years. The movie is based on a video game. This video game is the first one that I used to watch my hubby play (while we were dating). When I heard that they were turning it into a movie, well, I was pretty excited. I LOVED it! I thought it was great! I want to see it again and buy it on dvd! :)
On Saturday Jim's mom made us dinner and dessert at the house and had his sister and her family over to help us celebrate. We had a lot of fun (my nephew is super cute, so any time with him is a blast). :) It was a really nice night with the fam. I love spending time with Jim, especially on special occasions. I am looking forward to many more wonderful years with him! :)
So, all this to say, we had a really great anniversary! :)

Glad you had a nice anniversary!! And of course I think you have got a fun, adorable nephew too! So glad you think any time with him is good time :) He sure loves his, "Hey, You're in my seat!" Aunt too! We were over there yesterday and he was asking for you, and didn't want to leave because he hadn't seen you and then went searching for your car - it was cute!
awww!! That is so cute!!! I just love him to pieces!! He cracks me up. I still have his "hey, your in my seat" voice mail saved on my phone. :) Its too cute to delete!! :)
I really want to see Prince of Persia. It looks good.
