As I was replying to a comment on my last post I realized that I should have mentioned what I got at Kohl's. Why? Well, for starters its super cute. Secondly, I got the whole outfit for under $40!
I found this dress:
I thought it was cute, but it was SHORT! I am very modest and about died when I saw the length when it was on my (I take after my Daddy...looong legs!). Jackie LoVeD the dress. We put it back because it was so short. We started talking about leggings and wondered if that would make a difference.
I wasn't completely sold on the idea because 1. I've never worn leggings before and 2. I didn't know if it would look too "high school." I work with high schoolers, but I don't want to necessarily look like them. So we grabbed these leggings in black and voilĂ ! We had created a "look." Jackie thought it looked great. I felt really cute in it, but still wasn't sure. She convinced me, as she does so often in other areas of my life.
What would finish this "look" off? Why, shoes of course! :) I had picked these little beauties (so comfy!) out earlier when we first got there:
How cute are those? So cute!! I love them! I am planning on wearing my new outfit on Sunday. We'll see if anyone thinks it looks too "high school."
What do you guys think? What are your thoughts on leggings?
Well, this ends my Sunday shopping trip...only took 3 posts! haha!
As always, thanks for reading! :)

Hi!
I think its really nice! I would totally wear it. I love how you added the leggings. I do the same when I wear a short skirt. Give you that security.
Have a great night!

super cute!! I'm a big fan of leggings, not high schoolish at all imo. I also went shopping this weekend and bought an outfit out of my character, one that I wouldn't normally buy. I'll post a picture of it soon too. =D
Thanks guys! I am glad that you don't think I am crazy!! :) Ashley, I can't wait to see and hear about what you got on your shopping excursion! :)
That is a cute dress and I love the shoes.
Such a cute dress!
