Random Thoughts

I get told that I am random...pretty much all the time. My poor hubby has a hard time keeping up with thoughts because they start in one spot and jump to something completely unrelated. I never tend to notice, but every once in a while I see what he has to deal with on a regular basis.

My mind moves fast. This doesn't mean that they are all intelligent thoughts (um...yeah, I got my blog name for a reason). I connect things in weird ways that make no sense to anyone, but me. Have you seen the movie Up? You know the dog, Dug, with the collar? If you do, then you might remember this line:

Dug: "My master made me this collar. He is a good and smart master and he made me this collar so that I may speak. Squirrel!" -yup, this is totally me!

The reason I bring all of this up is because I was texting my husband today and our conversation went like this:

Hubby-"I love you. I hope your work day is going well. I miss you."

Me-"I love you too. Work is going pretty well. I am wearing sandals. I miss you too."

Being the loving man that he is, he informed me that he was glad that I was wearing sandals even though I know he really doesn't care. :)

Just wanted to share a little glimpse into a "normal" conversation with me.
