Hey there!
So last night I crashed on the couch and woke up after Jake went to work at about 12:15. I went upstairs to get into bed and my son has crept into my bed while I was asleep and fallen asleep himself. So I scooted him over and crawled into bed and went to sleep. I woke up this morning and started getting ready and right before I was going to leave for work, I glanced over and Logan looked upset. The conversation went as follows:
me: What's wrong buddy?
Lo: I'm sad.
me: Why?
Lo: I miss Natalie
me: I'm sorry bud - do you want to call her tonight?
Lo: no I just want her here with us...

Isn't that just too stinkin' cute?! I love my girlfriend's kids {that I totally adopted as my nieces and nephew}! They are adorable! I love it when she sends me little stories about the things that they say and do. I know how much I miss them, since I don't get to see them often, but I think about them all the time. Its nice to know they miss me just as much.
I think kids are the sweetest people in the world and they show us {adults} what it means to love and cherish the people who matter in your life. I think its a good reminder and lesson, that I for one, can always use.
