This weekend is going to be great! Why? You will have to wait until later to find out all of the details about why, but because I love you, my wonderful reader, I will give you away one detail- this weekend is going to be my first dive since getting certified AND my very first dive with my hubby! :)

I am kind of excited. Now, I know I said I would be perfectly content to never dive again, which probably makes me the ONLY certified diver with those sentiments. My hubby is so good to me. Why, you ask? Well, he is taking me to a dive spot where there is very little sea life. Whew! Crabs and starfish should be about all I see. I am very glad for that.
People ask me, if you don't like to dive then why would you? If its not fun what are you going to do under the water?
My answer is this:
1. I dive because it makes my husband happy. He is the love of my life and my best friend. I want to be able to do with him this hobby that he loves so much (plus, he said he'd hold my hand-yeah, I'm a pretty lucky gal!).
2. I figure if I close my eyes while underwater I would run into things, so I will keep them open, but no, I don't want to see anything. What will I do under there? Well, I am pretty good at the skills we had to learn. Perhaps I will sit at the bottom and practice taking my mask off and on or some other skill. :) lol

oooh have fun! You are soo brave! Its so funny because i have a serious irrational fear of going underwater. Brett always makes fun of me in the shower and says "be careful, you dont like to go under" haha

Have fun. I am too chicken to try but would probably love it..I did not want to snorkel either and then fell in love. Good for you for doing it to be with hubby!
Who knows... maybe you will grow to love it someday! You're a sweet wife to join your husband in his passions. Does this mean I should start watching ESPN and play XBOX? hehe
