Better Late Than Never

Thanksgiving

I had a fantastic Thanksgiving (and hope you did as well!). I got to see so many family members that I haven't seen in at least 5 years. It was wonderful being able to catch up with everyone! And of course, the food was amazing!! My Thanksgiving was very relaxing and enjoyable. What did you do for Thanksgiving?

Nephew

I think the highlight of my vacation was the time I was able to spend with my nephew, Brandon. He's 5 and I hadn't seen him in a year and a half. He was my little shadow and with the things he would say, he had me laughing all week! I really love that age (I suppose that's why I teach 4's and 5's at church)!

Quotes from my nephew
(B= Brandon, m=me)

B-"Hey! Why you have those spots on your face?"
m-"they're freckles."
B-"How you get them?"
M-"They are little sun kisses (insert kissing sound)"
B-"I love you"

B-"I want you to stay at my house forever and ever"
M-"Well, I will stay for five days"
B-"how about ten days"
M-"nope, five"
B-"how about ten"
M-"we'll talk about it later"

B-"you bring me something? (black Friday I walked in with one of the bags)"
M-"no,but I did buy your Christmas present"
B-"can I have it?"
M-"no, it's for Christmas"
B-"but where is it?"
M-"it's hiding"
B-"where?"
M-"I can't tell you until Christmas"
B-"I'll find it"
M-"nope, you won't"
B-"I will. I will find it right now"
He leaves And hen comes right back
B-"i couldn't find it"
