No Prom

Do you remember the surprise that my husband planned for me back in March? Well, the junior class of high schoolers that helped put that "Prom" on decided that they wanted to do the same for their prom. Their theme was Masquerade. We helped the parents decorate (it looked pretty good if I do say so!). We were also asked to chaperone. We were pretty excited. I mean, if they asked us to chaperone then that must mean we are "cool" leaders, right?! lol We didn't find out until we got there that we were the ONLY chaperones! :) They are great kids, so we weren't concerned. My husband showed them how to waltz and then put up an instructional video of how to do the "hustle"...which I still haven't figured out yet! We had a blast and they did as well! :)

It took a little bit for them to not be gender separated! haha!

Isn't he handsome?! :) I am one lucky girl!

Thanks guys! It was a blast. I also got to build some new friendships with some of the students I didn't know very well...and I got to help pick the King/Queen & Prince/Princess of Prom (which Jim and I won at ours in March!).
